Doucette, K. Oct 12, 2017. "Williams PSL." Retrieved from own personal library |
Hello all my fellow blog followers. So this will be the last post about my genius hour research into the pumpkin spice comparison. Williams used pumpkin in different drinks to really pump up new flavours for the fall drink. However, Williams just didn't have any baked goods to bring in some more of that pumpkin spice flavour. This may not be what all stores are like however the store that I went into didn't have any new flavours of baked goods. This latte was super sweet. There was lots of whipped cream :) which of course would make anyone happy but the coffee taste was lost. Just overwhelming sweetness overload. Williams does offer more than one or two sizes they go small, medium, and large when making their drink comparison. Williams did just seem to be the only company that did just a drink for the fall flavours that came out. It could be an advantage in a way because they came out with 7 new drinks but could also be a disadvantage because some people want a treat with their drink and usually will try whatever is new on the menu first before buying anything they have already tasted.
The Pumpkin Spice Latte, Pumpkin Spiced Hot Chocolate, Hot Apple Cider, Sweet Chili Latte, London Fog, and Chai Tea Latte were all the same prices per size.

Hi Kayla!
ReplyDeleteI'm commenting here not just on this post but on your portfolio as a whole. You've done a great job collecting all of your necessary artifacts throughout your blog and crediting where necessary (including your own photos, which a lot of people forget!). Everything is well written, well organized and easy to read. Your embedded Twitter widget is clear and easy to see, too. You've done a good job reflecting throughout your posts, and overall, this is an excellent portfolio!!
Hi Kayla, I just wanted to let you know that you did a great job with your portfolio! All of the artifacts that we had to complete for our TPACK quest are perfectly embeded to your blog, and there is no weird overlap with the other parts of the blog. You did very well with editing and ensuring that everything that you put up had proper writing mechanics. Your genius hour project was well done and it was great to read about each of the different pumpkin products.
ReplyDeleteOkay so through this lovely blog you got me invested in something in which I previously had no investment, pumpkin spice lattes. My aversion to coffee and my firmly held belief that everything pumpkin related tastes like ass were put aside and I became enthralled in your journey. Your writing is great, and well organized, like some sort of professional human being. You different pages, and the embedding of your twitter page are easy to find and your entire blog is really well and clearly laid out. I think you've done a really great job with your digital portfolio and I'm really proud of you!
