This badge was based on how students can use different ideas of how to learn through mobile learning. I used the popplet to organize my ideas but I found 5 different apps that I could use in my future classroom. This helped me explore different apps that I could use to teach different subjects for different grades. When looking at different classes today many of us as educators will have to bring in some sort of technological support to engage our students fully since they are so immersed in technology. By exploring these apps now I can make a bank of different apps or websites I can use later on in the classroom that I think might work instead of trying to find them later. I found an app for reading (epic), an app for spelling (kids can spell), group projects or reminders (edmodo), math (fill the cup), and organization (LiveBinders).
This badge is where we learned about blended and flipped classrooms to try to figure out what could be the best. When looking at the two types we need to take into consideration what type of class we may have. Blended classrooms can help integrate many of the technological aspects we have learned about over the past 6 weeks into the classroom. This gives kids who need these extra influences and using these to help their learning experiences. For flipped classrooms some kids need more time to work on activities and find they cannot do it at home and so having a short video they can learn from at home that is quick and to the point of the lesson they will learn will help to give the students more opportunity to ask questions during class time to complete the assignments due that day.
